John is a professional artist specializing in wood and watercolor paints. His class is a lesson in Medium and Deep Relief Carving. John will work with all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Students may take this 2-day and/or the 3-day class to finish their project. All carvings are in Basswood and the patterns are already hand drawn on the board for you to buy from John. You may choose from many architectural designs as well as animals.
Fee: The class fee is $140 due at registration. The cost of the blank ($40+) payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
Tools required - #3 gouges, skews, veiners, knives and- U-gouges. John will also have some tools you might need for his class.
