KEN LEGGITT
Cottonwood Bark Outhouse 1-day class; 8b SU 7/14
Creede native Ken Leggitt returns after taking some time off to enjoy his retirement. We are very happy to have him back teaching cottonwood bark carving. These are fun classes for beginner and intermediate carvers as they will use their own imagination to design and carve a miner’s cabin and/or outhouse which they will be able to finish in one day. Ken will show students how to carve a rock, log, or plank cabin/outhouse; how to put in windows & doors; and how to carve the roof shingles and add a chimney. You will definitely have fun in Ken’s class!
The cost of each 1-day class fee of $45 is due at time of registration which includes the cost of the cottonwood bark.
Number of students: 2 minimum, 6 maximum.
This is open to Beginner and Intermediate carvers.
Tools needed: Glove, V-tools, long bladed knife, imagination.
