Aaron and Andy Mayer Sign Animals 9e WE 7/17
On Wednesday, the Mayer brothers will work together to instruct students how to carve an animal holding a sign from a basswood rough-out approximately 2”x2”x4 3/4”. Students will have their choice of a moose, dog, cat, or a bear, all from the same rough-out. Students can carve, paint, or wood-burn their own custom sign. A wood-burner will be available if students wish to wood-burn their sign.
The full class fee of $45 is due at time of registration. Cost of the rough-out, $10, is payable to them on the day of the class.
Number of students: 5 minimum and 12 maximum.
This is open to carvers of all skill levels.
Tools needed: Carving knife; micro U-gouge 3,4,& 5 mm; small & medium V-tools; #7/9mm U-gouge.
