Basket Illusion
KATHY ROBERTS Basket Illusion (MO-TU) Chip Carving/Basket Illusion (WE)
BASKET ILLUSION Kathy will teach the design and coloring of basket illusion. Kathy recommends at least 2 days for any of the projects. The fee for each day is $40. Projects range from beginner to advanced levels, from kaleidoscopes to bowls, platters, and vases. All blanks will be already indexed (the lines drawn in pencil). You may choose your project the day you start. If you choose a bowl or platter with an open center and want to wood burn the center, she recommends you take your project to a pyrography class either before or after doing the basket-weave. She will provide sample patterns along with graph paper, erasers, and colored pens and pencils for designing and painting on your project.
The full class fee of $40 for each day taken is due at time of registration. Cost of the blanks range from $25 to $75 and will be payable to Kathy on the day of the class. Number of Students: 1 minimum; 6 maximum
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Tools needed: Light; Wood burner; skew wood burning nib, beading nib IF you have one (Kathy has a couple of extras you can borrow); colored brush tip pens IF you have them. Graph paper will be provided.
