Sewing Projects
Kim Clarke, 1-day class, NC01b-e SU, MO, TU, WE
SEWING I have three quick and easy sewing projects that make great gifts. Each project will take approximately an hour to make. Sign up for which day you would like to sew, then come see me at the Rendezvous to pick a time that works for you. Everything is provided, so plan to make all three! I will have plenty of kits so you can make more than one. Check off that Christmas shopping early!
Reusable gift bag: $16 This sturdy bag is lined with a boxed bottom and a ribbon tie top. It measures approximately 6.5x4x5.
Plant mat: $12 This cute mat uses the quilt-as-you-go technique and is bound with mitered corners. This little project is the perfect way to learn these great quilting skills without having to make a full quilt.
Bowl cozy: $6 Whether you are holding a hot bowl of soup or a cold bowl of ice cream this cozy will keep your hands happy! It is even microwaveable, so no more burning your hands getting a hot bowl out of the microwave.
Cost of materials, depending upon which project(s) is chosen, is payable to Kim on the day of the class.
Number of Students: 1 minimum, 5 maximum.
Skill level: Beginner, but all skill levels are welcome.
