Carving a Realistic Cat or Fawn
She would like to show you how to carve your own curious cat or a whitetail fawn, take your pick. Both can be wood burned for hair texture if desired, which will take longer to finish. We can spend the last day painting. Most students can finish carving the fawn in three or four days, then we can burn/or not and paint the rest of the week. Cost of the class for four days is $200.00. Cost of blank for the cat and pattern is $30.00. Cost of blank for the whitetail fawn, base and pattern is $30.00. The class size will be minimum 5 students and maximum 12 students at intermediate skill level.
Tools required: Bring your favorite tools; hand tools, Woodburner, paints and brushes, and most important…..one or two pair of calipers!
Cost is $200 plus the blank ($30). The $25 deposit for the class is applied toward the cost of the class. the remainder of the fees are due to the instructor at the start of class.
