Patty will teach students how to scrimshaw by scratching a design on a practice plexiglas panel. The scratches are filled with oil paint or ink. Scrimshaw is used on a variety of items such as pendants, bone, antlers, ivory, and knife handles. Adding color to scrimshaw will be covered. Cost is $35. The $25 deposit for the class is applied toward the cost of the class. The remainder of the fees are due to the instructor at the start of class.
