Each carver will be carving off of the Instructor supplied carving vice and carving bench.  I will help you set your carving up on the vice for safe carving, if you want.  Tools Required:  Bring all sharp tools you may have. HARTT, DON

Fancy Walking Canes  Don will be teaching his Fancy Walking Cane again and will do seven one day classes.  The students can schedule as many days as they want, from 1 to 7 days.  However, he strongly suggests you take at least three days.  Out of all the classes he has done so far, he has never had anyone complete the project in less than three days.  Some of the patterns he installs on the blanks can  be done in three days, but there are a lot of patterns that cannot be completed in only three days.  Time required for completion is dependent upon the pattern the student chooses.  You can learn how to put on a fancy pattern and to carve and finish it.  After this class you should be able to do your own fancy cane without help from anyone.  If you do need help Don is as close as your phone or computer, just call or email.  Extra blanks will be available with or without patterns at a cost of $40 to $85.  Don has a website where finished canes and blanks with an assortment of patterns can be viewed at www.donharttcanes.com  Don’s phone number is 832-236-7691 and his email is donhartt@gmail.com.  Don also has classes at.carveronline.com  Tools Required:  Carving Knife, Gouges and a background tool, which will be available from the Instructor for a cost of $15.  B/I/A  Max 12  Min 1  Cost $35.00 plus the blank for $85.00
